The Little god within
Good morning, friends!
I met with one of the world's greatest Shamans yesterday, Shaman Durek, and wowza. I am still processing much of what happened and will be for a few weeks.
But I wanted to share one of my favorite takeaways from working with him.
We all have a little god within. And all of our little gods are connected.
Side note: I got my first tattoo my freshman year of college (with one of my friends, Margaret, who got the same tattoo bc that's way cooler than a friendship bracelet). The tattoo is a small circle on the back of my (our) neck. When people asked me what the circle meant, I would say “because everything is connected…we're all connected.” I had no clue what I was talking about at the time. Now I get it!
So what is the little god within you? It's your inner child. Your essence. Your soul. It's childlike, pure, and free. And it wants to CREATE.
Durek said, when the bible talks about becoming “childlike” to get into heaven, this is what it means. God's energy presents as the inner child within you.
Your inner child is here to CREATE and is connected to everyone else's inner child. (this is actually what it means when people say we're all one).
Your inner child knows what would delight you and how to manifest it. It can create opportunities for more money, relationships, art, etc.
When you aren't creating, the world suffers. What happens to a world when its God stops creating?
What keeps our little god from creating and manifesting? Negative programming (negative beliefs), fear of judgement, and simply not being connected to this part of us.
My intention right now is to strengthen my relationship with this part of me. Continue to free myself of the fear of judgement that keeps her from creating and thriving. Allow her to play and guide me in all areas of my life.
