how to sit in the unknown

Sitting in the unknown is so difficult for us.

It's the very challenging space between not having something we desire and having it.

If it's something you deeply desire - like finding your purpose or finding your partner - the in-between can feel that much more excruciating.

But here's what we're not taught about sitting in the unknown: It's where the magic unfolds.

It's the field where all possibilities exist.

It's an opportunity to get very connected to your intuition and start following its guidance toward your desire outcome.

It's where synchronicities start popping up all over your life.

Here are 4 ways to help you navigate the unknown:

  1. Go inward. Stop looking outside yourself for what you should want. Connect to your heart and ask yourself what YOU truly want.

  2. Have patience (I know, hard!). Patience is more tolerable when a) you TRUST this outcome is inevitable (or it will be something better than your current vision) and b) when you practice presence and gratitude for what is right now. Remember our fave phrase, you are always OK in the present moment.

  3. Pay attention to “shiny objects." The in-between will sometimes throw shiny objects your way to see if you will revert to old patterns or up-level toward your true heart's desires. (this can look like an ex coming back into your life, boundaries being tested, or a job opportunity that seems great but is missing key elements of what you want).

  4. Follow your intuition. If you want to feel safe navigating the unknown, follow your intuition. It is the compass you need to navigate through. Learn the difference between fear and intuition. Learn how your intuition communicates with you.

I'm sitting in the unknown right now in my love life and even in my career in some ways. I'm right there with you, trying to apply these principles to my own life.

Are you navigating an unknown? I'd love to hear about it :)
